Obituary of Patricia Hotaling

   Voorheesville -  Patricia “Pat” Hotaling, 84, passed away at Albany Medical Center on Thursday July 25th 2024 surrounded by her family and loved ones. Originally from Albany NY, Pat moved to Voorheesville early in life to marry and spend a lifetime with her husband Bill Hotaling. Over the course of sixty plus years, Pat touched the lives of nearly everyone within the Village of Voorheesville and the surrounding communities.  Her greatest joy was time spent in conversation and supporting her exceptional list of friends and acquaintances.  Pat’s compassion and care for her community of friends was truly unique.  Pat’s true pride however was for her family.  She proudly counted three children and six grandchildren.  This group represented numerous College graduates, High School and College athletic standouts and successful members of local communities. Pat’s influence and guidance is evident in both the community she so cherished and the living legacy of the family she left behind.  We will all miss her bright smile, kind words, and beautiful heart.

     Pat is predeceased by her loving Husband of 45 years William Hotaling, her daughter Paige Parker, and her sister Sandy Filkins.  Pat is survived by two children and their families; Brett and Liz Hotaling and their children, Logan and Julia; PJ and Noah Parker; Chad and Casey Hotaling and their children, William Hotaling, Ryann (Tabriz) Khetab. Pat is also survived by her Niece Stacy and Lance Woodworth and their children Judson and Hannah.

     Calling hours will be held on Monday, July 29, 2024 from 4 to 7 p.m. at St. Matthew's Church, 25 Mountainview St., Voorheesville. A service will be held at St. Matthew's Church on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at 10 a.m.  wit Rev.
