Obituary of Brian Patrick Peirce

Colonie - Brian P. Peirce, age 51, of Colonie, NY, died surrounded by his family on March 18, 2023, in the Palliative Care Unit of Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City after a brief illness. Brian was the son of Donna Peirce (nee Degener) of Colonie and the late William Peirce

Brian is survived by his loving children, Madelyn Peirce of San Diego, CA, and Troy Peirce of Palmdale, CA; his mother, Donna Peirce (Lawrence Palcic) of Colonie; his sister, Tammy Peirce of Colonie; his brother, William Peirce (Kristina) of Queensbury; and many caring aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Brian was predeceased by his father, William C. Peirce in 2009.

Brian earned a G.E.D. and worked primarily in welding and construction. Brian was fiercely loyal to those he loved and could be called on to help with any project, regardless of the chronic pain he suffered throughout the last years of his life. Brian’s greatest joy came from Maddy and Troy; spending time with them and keeping up on all the successes and challenges of their lives. Brian will be remembered for his wicked sense of humor and his infectious laugh will be missed by all who knew him.

Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Reilly & Son Funeral Home, Colonie from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2023.  From 1:00 to 1:30 p.m. will be dedicated to sharing stories and memories about Brian.
