Obituary of Leonard W. Campbell

Delmar - Leonard W. Campbell, 81, of Delmar Place, formerly of Voorheesville died Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at the Community Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. Born in Glens Falls, Leonard had lived most of his life in Voorheesville and for the past few years enjoyed the company of the other residents and staff at Delmar Place. He also made many friends during his stays at the St. Peter's nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He worked for the New York State Employees Retirement System for 30 years, retiring in 1988. For the past 30 years, he enjoyed wintering in Florida with his late wife, Mary Harrington Campbell. In addition to his wife, he is predeceased by his brothers, Joseph Campbell and John Campbell. Survivors include his brothers-in-law, Edward Harrington and John Harrington; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial mass at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 28, 2013 at St. Matthew's Church, Mountainiew St., Voorheesville.
