Obituary of Anne Connors

Loudonville - Anne "Annie" Connors, 52, died peacefully on June 26, 2013 at St. Peter's Hospital. Annie was a lifelong resident of the Albany area. She graduated from Bishop Maginn High School and attended Siena College. Annie enjoyed traveling, especially to Cape Cod. She was an avid gardener producing vegetables in quantity. She enjoyed cooking and baking and did not believe in mixes.. Annie loved animals, especially her dogs: Tilly who predeceased her and Maddie who has been adopted by her good friend Theresa Shafer. Annie was a warm hearted, loving person, blessed with a keen sense of humor. She was always there to help others giving of her time and resources. Annie was the widow of David Connors (Snell); cherished daughter of Anne Nerf Connors and John Connors; and the beloved sister of Mary Connors Martin. Also surviving are her nieces and nephews: William Busacker, Jennifer Busacker Crave (Matthew), Mary Martin, Luke Martin and Charles Martin. She was the niece of David Connors deceased (Therese), Anne Connors, Martha Minahan and Mark Connors (Cathy). She is also survived by many cousins. Wake and Mass of Christian Burial will be at All Saints Church, formerly St. Margaret Mary's, 16 Homestead St., Albany on Tuesday, July 2, 2013. Wake at 10:00 a.m. followed by mass at 11:00 o'clock. Interment will be at a later date in the Saratoga National Cemetery. We would like to thank all of the health care professionaals who have helped Annie over the years in her battle with alcoholism.
