Marie was the first friend I made when we were both new homeowners in Voorheesville. We stayed in touch all these more than 50 years; getting together for lunch to give and get family updates and sharing marvelously funny e-mails. Marie was a gentle woman whose eyes twinkled when she laughed, but she could fix a stare to stop you in your tracks! Marie was a no-nonsense lady and at all times very much a Lady. Bill and family was her life and they have my deepest sympathy on their great loss. I valued Marie's friendship and I will miss her. Jo

Hi Marie, Well this wasn't exactly the plan was it? Owen and I were so looking forward to hanging out with you and Bill again next March. I know we only just got to know each other this year when I was in Florida, but like we said one day after a few bevy's, we were soul sisters :) You will never know how much I appreciated all you and Bill did for me when I was going through a hard time of my own in March. You both took me under your wings and made sure I was ok everyday and I will never forget your kindness. You made a difficult time so much more manageable and I will forever be grateful to you both. I'm fairly certain you are taking care of someone else wherever you are right now and I only hope they understand how big your wings really are and that you had them long before you had to leave us. I'm so sorry to hear about Marie. She and Bill, Margo and Bill joined me and my family for part of thanksgiving last year. She and Bil were one of my favorite customers along with Bill Margo and fireman Dick.b99yFMay she RIP. Marie will be missed by many.
