Carnevale, Anthony F. OSPREY, Fla. Anthony F. Carnevale, 71, of Osprey, and formerly Albany, died unexpectedly in his sleep on the morning of May 9, 2013. Anthony was born July 9, 1941 to the late Frank and Francis (Bianchino) Carnevale. He was raised in West Albany where his family owned the Carnevale Super Rama, which was originally founded by his grandfather, Antonino Carnevale. Anthony served in the United States Army. He went on to become an entrepreneur who was a real estate broker, land developer and hotelier. His Traveler's Motor Inn on Central Avenue was a fixture for traveling salesmen and Saratoga Race Track fans for many years. Anthony loved his pasta and ice cream. Most of all, he loved Sundays, which he spent fishing on his boat and enjoying dinner with his family. He was a profoundly unique individual who was blessed with many dear friends, a loving wife and adoring children. He will be deeply missed by all. Anthony was preceded in death on May 6, 2013 by his sister, Francis DeRubbo. He is survived by his wife, Lynn; son, Frank, and his wife, Dawn, of Clifton Park; daughters, Lori Dipace of Colonie, Felicia Carnevale of Sarasota, Fla., Toni Carnevale of Orlando, Fla. and Nicole Kasdorf and her husband, Anthony, of Schenectady. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and one great-grandson. Calling hours will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at Reilly and Son Funeral Home, 1200 Central Ave., Albany. Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 17, 2013 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens, Colonie.
