Obituary of Martha DeRusso George

Colonie - Martha W. (DeRusso) George, age 90 of Albany, passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2018. She was born December 28, 1927 to the late Louis and Anna Kalmas DeRusso. Family was everything to Martha, always willing to help anyone. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Anthony J. George, her daughters Barbara (William) Korn, Irene Landi, and Patricia (Gregory) Hamilton, 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by one sister, Catherine (Ed) Olsiewski. She was predeceased by six sisters and three brothers.

Martha’s funeral mass will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. Friday, December 7, 2018 at Christ Our Light Church, 1 Maria Dr., Loudonville.  Visiting hours will be Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the church.  Entombment will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery in Menands.
