Obituary of Alfred E. Wright
Menands - Alfred E Wright Jr of Menands joined his daughter Laurie Ann Wright in heaven on Tuesday 1/23/2018. Alfred was the son of Alfred E. Wright Sr & Mable Minor and the husband of 53 years of Margaret Lennon Wright. He was the brother to the late Marion (Joe) Delvecchio of Saratoga, Janice (Peter) Wall of Colonie, Richard (Marylou Vianese) Wright Of Indian Lake, Shirley (Joel) O'Connor of Colonie, Robert (Maureen) Wright of Ballston Lake and the late Donald Wright. He is survived by his wife Margaret; sons Gary (Dawn) Wright and Donald Wright, both of Wynantskill; his granddaughters Bethany & Dana Wright and several nieces and nephews. He was a kind, thoughtful and generous man. He enjoyed spending time working with his hands, teaching what he knew and helping others. He put the needs of others before his own. He will be deeply missed.
Funeral 8:00 a.m. Saturday morning from the Reilly & Son Funeral Home, Colonie and at 9:00 a.m. at St. Joan of Arc Church, 76 Menands, Rd., Menands. Burial will be in St. Agnes Cemetery in Menands. Calling hours will be Friday from 4 - 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
