Obituary of Angeline M. Abraham

Colonie - Angeline (Ponticello) Abraham, 93, passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side on December 25, 2016. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Angeline was an avid cook who enjoyed feeding her family and putting smiles on everyones face. Angeline was the daughter of the late Carmella Guiffre and Vincent Ponticello. She was the beloved wife of George Abraham Sr. and had recently celebrated her 65th wedding anniversary in April 2016. Angeline was predeceased by her daughter, Maria Abraham and her sister, Theresa "Tess" Ponticello Ruth. In addition to her husband George, she is survived by her two sons, George E. Abraham (Betsy) & Vincent Abraham (Linda), and beloved daughter, Judy Abraham, who devoted the last few years to care for her mother. Angeline is also survived by her six grandchildren, Sarah Abraham O'Leary (Mike), Meghan Abraham (Chris), Jessica Polito (Josh), Jeremy Candelaria (Dominique), Marie Abraham & Jeff Abraham; three great grandchildren, Lucas Pettinelli, Samuel Polito and Jacob Polito; and several nieces and nephews. A special thanks to Dr. Guiliano, Dr. Tietgens and the staff at Unlimited Care, The Eddy and Landmark. Angeline was loved very dearly by her family and will be missed tremendously. A Christian Mass will be held on Thursday, December 29 at 1:00 p.m. at Historic St. Mary's Church, 10 Lodge Street., Albany, NY 12207.
