Voorheesville - Paul P. Lopez passed away unexpectedly on December 21, 2016, the first day of the winter season, at the age of 62. He attended and graduated from the Voorheesville School System. He enlisted in the United States Army after High School and was honorably discharged after serving his term. Paul was employed as a Rail Road freight car inspector with the CSX Freight Transportation Company for 40 plus years. He loved working with computers, playing music and his mopars. He was a New York Mets and New York Jets enthusiast. Paul loved life and will be sorely missed.
He was predeceased by his father, Hipolito P. Lopez; mother, Magdalena E. Lopez; and brothers, George F. and Robert J. Lopez. He leaves behind his sisters, Lolita D. Lopez-Ribley and Frances E. Lopez; son, Joshua P. Lopez; fiancé , Marie Vuolo and their son John N. Thorner; nephew, Brian M. Ribley; and niece, Debbie Reiser. Journey well brother.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at the Reilly & Son Funeral Home, Voorheesville. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Glenmont. Calling hours will be Monday from 4 - 6 p.m. in the funeral home.
