Obituary of Robert W. Fuglein

Voorheesville -Robert W. Fuglein, 90, died at his home on Wednesday, November 23, 2016. Born in Voorheesville, Robert was a lifelong self employed Dairy farmer. He was an active member of the New Scotland Presbyterian Church, the New Scotland Senior Citizens and the Elks and their Square Dancing Club. He also was an avid card player and bowler. Bob met his wife of 66 years, Evelyn Irons Fuglein, square dancing and they have enjoyed square dancing together their entire lives. He was the proud father of Robert E. Fuglein (Deborah) of Voorheesville, Ruth Von Haugg (Richard) of East Berne, Diane Bode (Frank) of Voorheesville and Patricia Joyce (Daniel) of Voorheesville. Bob was also a very proud grandfather of Courtney, Andrew, Michele, Meaghen, Bradley, David, Matthew, Jeffrey, Tara, Jonathan and Mitchell; and great-grandfather of nine. He was predeceased by his siblings, Frank Fuglein, Jr., Donald Fuglein and Ruth Bauer Perry. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 28, 2016 at the New Scotland Presbyterian Church, 2010 New Scotland Rd., Slingerlands, NY 12159. Burial will follow in the New Scotland Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 3 - 5 p.m. in the Reilly & Son Funeral Home, Voorheesville on Sunday.
