Obituary of Pasquale A. Aliberti

Colonie - Pasquale A. “Pat” Aliberti, 87, of Ahl Ave. passed away Thursday, July 28, 2016. Born in Albany, Pat was a veteran of the United States Army, serving from 1946 to 1947. He worked in the insurance business, in both the private and public sector, for 60 years before retiring from the NYS Office of General Services in 1994. Pat enjoyed golf, bowling and especially his family. He was predeceased by his parents, Angelo Aliberti and Mary and Joseph Scarpitti; and sons, Michael John and Paul David Aliberti. Survivors include his wife, Ellen Mary “May” Aliberti; son, Stephen T. Aliberti (Marianne); daughters-in-law, Elizabeth Aliberti and Deborah Aliberti; grandchildren, Audra L. and David S. Aliberti; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 1, 2016 at the Reilly & Son Funeral Home, Colonie. Burial will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery in Colonie. Visitation will be Monday from 12 - 1 p.m. at the funeral home, prior to the service.
