The death of Mrs. Lorraine M. Donovan is one of the most devastating experiences a family can face. At times, the loss may seem unbearable. Please know that there are those who care and more importantly Psalm 34:18 tells us that "God is near to those that are broken at heart. He is the God of all comfort. My prayers are with you and your family.

I knew Lorraine in 1950 when she lived at 9 Maplewood ave., next door to me. I thought she was the prettiest thing I'd ever seen. But she was in her twenties and i was 4. She walked home for lunch every day and I would be waiting for her on her front steps. She would smile and invite me in to visit while she ate her lunch. I also remember her brother who was called Fritz, and a dog named Mitzie. I never again saw her after she married and moved out, since her parents moved away shortly after.
Reading her obituary brought back some fond memories.
I hope she had a happy life. My condolences to the family.
