Colonie - Darrell L. Hogan, 58, of Van Buren Ave. died Thursday, December 6, 2012 at his home. Born in Albany, Darrell had lived on Van Buren Ave. for the past 22 years. He was employed as a printer for most of his life, most notably spending over 20 years working for Blue Cross / Blue Shield in Albany. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed the leagues at Sunset Bowling in Colonie. Darrell was a loving father and family man. He was the father of Thomas Hogan (Tina) of Guilderland, Andrew Hogan (Kate) of Clifton Park and Patrick Hogan (Nicole Conde) of Colonie; son of the late Shirley McClintock and Donald L. Hogan; grandfather of Veronica Sickler and Tomas, Angel, Daniel and Haley Hogan; brother of Donna Hanvey (Art), Sharon Irrizary, Joseph Hogan, Ann Marie Simmons (Gary), Derrick Hogan, Peter Hogan, Mary Marx (Kevin), Arthur Hogan, Timothy Hogan (Kelly Bullis) and the late Richard and Daniel Hogan; and former husband of Dorothy Britt. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial mass at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 10, 2012 at Christ Our Light Church, 1 Maria Dr., Loudonville. For those who wish, memorial contributions to the charity of one's choice would be appreciated.
