Obituary of Nancy L. Mosher

Voorheesville - Nancy Meilinger Mosher, 75, of Pleasant St. died Saturday, August 27, 2011 at her home. Born in Fultonville, Nancy grew up in Voorheesville. She lived in San Francisco, CA for 30 years where she taught Kindergarten before moving back to Voorheesville in 1987. She then earned her nursing degree and worked in the healthcare field until her retirement from the Guilderland Center Nursing Home in 2006. Nancy was always involved with her family and enjoyed keeping track of the activities of her granddaughter and all of her nieces and nephews. She loved to travel and meet with friends at social events and lunches. Also, she was very active with the Voorheesville Public Library and had served as a member of the library board. Nancy was the mother of Kevin Mosher of Voorheesville and the late Kurt Mosher; grandmother of Jessica Mosher; sister of Edward (Wendy) Meilinger of San Diego, CA, Robert (Anne) Meilinger of Voorheesville, Ron (Barbara) Meilinger of Voorheesville, Carol (Bill) Tashjian of East Greenbush, Dick (Paula) Meilinger of Pine Plains, NY and the late Diane Church; and sister-in-law of Larry Church. A memorial mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at St. Matthew's Church, Mountainview St., Voorheesville. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Guilderland. Friends may visit with Nancy's family Tuesday from 4 - 7 p.m. at the Reilly & Son Funeral Home, Voorheesville.
