Voorheesville - Jean F. Karins, 67, passed away on June 22, 2011 after her brave battle with cancer. Jean was predeceased by her parents, Gladys Neale and James H. Corey. She was the sister of James A. Corey (Anne) of Guilderland and Mary Cozzens (Bob) of SC. Jean always believed that God's greatest gift to her were her children; daughter, Christina M. Karins of Voorheesville and son, Jeffrey M. Karins and his family of Clover, SC. She is also survived by her many nephews, cousins and their families.
Jean especially wishes to thank her special friends for all their support, never giving up on her while she fought this battle. No funeral services will be held. Anyone wishing to make a donation in Jean's name to the American Cancer Society, 260 Osborne Rd., Loudonville, NY 12211 or Stand Up 2 Cancer (standup2cancer.org) would be greatly appreciated, so that we may someday find the cure of this dreaded disease.
