Voorheesville - William H. Reitz died peacefully surrounded by his family on 10 May, 2011. A licensed architect, he served 25 years on the Planning Commission for the Village of Voorheesville and retired in 1996 from the N.Y.S. Construction Fund.
After retirement Bill continued his passion for planning and design. He assisted his daughters and son with home renovation projects as well as model aircraft building, antique motorcycle restoration and photography.
Bill was loving husband to Sheila, father to Liska, AnnaMarie, Deborah (Kevin) and William Jr. (Cathy) and grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services at 11:00 o'clock Saturday morning at the Voorheesville First United Methodist Church, 68 Maple Ave., Voorheesville. Entombment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Colonie.
