Obituary of Yolanda E. Brannigan

Guilderland - Yolanda Castagna Brannigan, 88, died Saturday, April 16, 2011 at the Guilderland Center Nursing Home. Born in Albany, Yolanda lived for most of her life on Johnston Rd. in Guilderland. She was a fantastic artist with the ability to draw almost anything and enjoyed crocheting and playing rummy. Yolanda was the wife of the late William Brannigan; mother of Frances Morrissey, William Brannigan and the late Thomas Brannigan; sister of Josephine Gasbara and Ida DeNucci; grandmother of Christine, Michelle, Daniel, Jaclyn and Michael; great-grandmother of Kayla, Amanda, Mason, Gavin, Adrianna, Aidan and Tyler; and great-great-grandmother of Michael. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Reilly & Son Funeral Home, Colonie. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., prior to the service. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
